28. APPROPRIATION ADJUSTMENT FOR ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES In accordance with A.R.S. §42-17106(B), authorize the following budget appropriation adjustments: 1.Increase the Environmental Services (D880) Environmental Services Fee Fund (506) Operating (OPER) revenue and expenditure appropriations by $500,000. 2.Decrease Non Departmental (D470) Non Departmental Grants Fund (249) Operating (OPER) Unassigned Contingency revenue and expenditure appropriations by $500,000. 3.Increase Environmental Services (D880) Tire Fund (290) Non Recurring Non Project (NRNP) expenditure appropriation by $870,000. 4.Increase Environmental Services (D880) Environmental Services Fee Fund (506) Non Recurring Non Project (NRNP) expenditure appropriation by $470,000. 5.Decrease Non departmental (D470) Non Departmental Grants Fund (249) Non Recurring Non Project (NRNP) Unassigned Contingency expenditure appropriation by $1,340,000. Current forecasted revenues in Environmental Services Fee Fund (506) match the requested increases in Operating (OPER) expenditures. These adjustments will result in a County-wide net financial impact of zero. This will allow the Environmental Services Department to address the increase in permit inspections and increased plan review for restaurants and waste water systems. The utilization of fund balance will allow for the more efficient use of county owned space while reducing Environmental Services leased space footprint and provide funding for an Accela review contract. The increase in the Tire Fund (290) will allow for the increased costs associated w/an influx of tires received at the County tire recycling facility. Current forecasted revenues in Environmental Services Fee Fund (506) match the requested increases in Operating (OPER) expenditures. (C-88-19-005-L-00)
