IGA WITH FLOOD CONTROL DISTRICT OF MARICOPA COUNTY FOR MOSQUITO SURVEILLANCE ON FLOOD CONTROL PROPERTY AND MUTUAL AID OF SHARED RESOURCES Approve Intergovernmental Agreement (IGA) FCD 2022A009 to allow the Maricopa County Environmental Services Department (MCESD) to partner with the Flood Control District (DISTRICT) to utilize DISTRICT property for the placement of mosquito traps to be incorporated into the MCESD Vector Contro l Division’s mosquito surveillance network. This agreement identifies the responsibilities of each PARTNER for the purchasing, maintenance, and testing of the traps on DISTRICT property. In addition, the DISTRICT and MCESD identified a need for shared su pport and mutual aid of resources during peak mosquito season for mitigation, training, and outreach efforts. This agreement allows for and identifies the responsibilities of each PARTNER for mutual sharing of resources and support to combat mosquito born disease during times of peak needs throughout Maricopa County and on DISTRICT property.
