45. IGA FOR IMPROVEMENTS AT THE INTERSECTION OF RITTENHOUSE ROAD AND CLOUD ROAD Approve an Intergovernmental Agreement between Town of Queen Creek and Maricopa County through the Public Works, in the not-to-exceed amount of $385,750. The purpose of this Intergovernmental Agreement is to make improvements at the intersection of Rittenhouse and Cloud Road . This Intergovernmental Agreement is effective from September 3, 2008 until June 30, 2009. The purpose of this project is to widen the t-intersection of Rittenhouse Road and Cloud Road . The Town will act as lead agency for this project. The project is scheduled to begin construction this calendar year. The estimated cost for the Traffic Improvement Project (TIMP) Job Number T281 is $771,500 and the County is responsible for 50% of the estimated total cost of the project not-to-exceed $385,750. The County will remit payment to the Town after construction is completed and is expected to be invoiced within this fiscal year (FY2009). Upon issuance of a certificate of substantial completion for the project, the Town will proceed with the annexation of the entire roadway within the project limits.
