133. AGREEMENT WITH MARICOPA ASSOCIATION OF GOVERNMENTS FOR ROADWAY IMPROVEMENTS Approve a Revenue Agreement between Maricopa Association of Governments (#09-ELM-10-03-D) and Maricopa County acting through Maricopa County Department of Transportation, in the amount not-to-exceed $9,721,991. The purpose is to approve the Project Agreement between the Maricopa Association of Governments (MAG) and Maricopa County, acting through the Maricopa County Department of Transportation (MCDOT) for regional reimbursements associated with the design, right-of-way and construction costs of roadway improvements to El Mirage Road from Deer Valley Drive to Loop 303, ALCP Project Job Number TT104. The total amount of reimbursements expected to be received from MAG for this Project is $9.72 million. This Revenue Agreement is effective from MAG approval date until completion of reimbursements. In November 2004, voters of Maricopa County approved a transportation excise tax for the purpose of implementing the Regional Transportation Plan (RTP). Maricopa Association of Governments (MAG) was required by law to adopt a program that provided for life cycle management for the funding and programming of the Arterial Life Cycle Program (ALCP), as part of the RTP. ALCP Project Job Number TT104, El Mirage Road from Deer Valley Drive to Loop 303, is included in the RTP and is eligible for regional funding on a reimbursement basis. Under the approved FY2009 MAG RTP update, $9.72 million has been programmed for reimbursement between FY2016 and FY2018. However, in the event of the availability of ALCP Closeout Funds during FY2010, the reimbursements for this project could be received earlier than anticipated. As the lead agency, MCDOT has submitted the required MAG Project Overview and must also submit an approved Project Agreement to Maricopa Association of Governments for execution. Reimbursements will be sent to the Maricopa County Department of Transportation as part of the Arterial Life Cycle Program (ALCP). Supervisory District 4 (C-91-09-196-M-00)
