49. IGA WITH THE U.S. FOREST SERVICE, DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE, TONTO NATIONAL FOREST FOR INSTALLATION OF SAFETY AND DRAINAGE RELATED IMPROVEMENTS Approve the Intergovernmental Agreement (IGA) between Maricopa County and the U.S. Forest Service, Tonto National Forest for the installation of safety and drainage related improvements to what is referred to as curve 3 of the Seven Springs Road on the Cave Creek Ranger District. The Tonto National Forest will reimburse the County for all costs associated with this project, at a total cost not-to-exceed $88,000.00. The work must be completed by June 15, 2010. The project, which is the installation of safety and drainage related improvements to Curve 3 of Seven Springs Road, consists of vertical curb and gutter, grouted rip-rap, and a guardrail end-terminal. The Forest Service will provide total reimbursement to Maricopa County, not to exceed $88,000.00. The Project is expected to begin in 2009 and will be completed by June 15, 2010. Specific start dates are dependent on weather and crew availability. Supervisorial District No. 2 (C-91-10-007-M-00)
