61. BID AND AWARD FOR ROADWAY IMPROVEMENTS ON NEW EL MIRAGE ROAD Approve the solicitation of bids for the roadway improvements of new El Mirage Road, between Bell Road and Deer Valley Drive as the first phase of the MAG ALCP project T103 (El Mirage Road, Bell Road to Beardsley Road) and the second phase of the MAG ALCP project T104 (El Mirage Road, Beardsley Road to SR303L); and approve the award to the lowest responsive bidder, provided that the lowest responsive bid does not exceed the project engineer’s cost estimate by 10%. This project has been fully designed and cleared with right-of-way, utilities, environmental, public relations, and subject to the terms of the pending intergovernmental agreement for reimbursement with MAG under the ALCP Regional Transportation Plan. This project is scheduled to bid for construction in October 2009. Supervisory District No. 4 (C-91-10-019-5-00)
