45. BID AND AWARD FOR ROADWAY IMPROVEMENTS OF 7TH STREET BETWEEN DESERT HILLS DRIVE AND DEER VALLEY DRIVE Approve the solicitation of bids for the first phase of Maricopa County Department of Transportation’s roadway improvements to 7th Street, between Desert Hills Drive and Deer Valley Drive, County Arterials (ARTS) Project No. T177. Award the contract to the lowest responsive bidder, provided that the lowest responsive bidder does not exceed Engineer’s estimate by more than ten percent. This project is in the process of being fully designed and cleared with right-of-way, utilities, environmental, public relations, and subject to the terms and requirements of the Regional Transportation Plan. This project is scheduled to bid for construction in March 2010. (C-91-10-107-5-00)
