57. BID AND AWARD FOR CRACK SEAL SURFACE TREATMENT Approve the solicitation of bids for the Maricopa County Department of Transportation’s Crack Seal Surface Treatment, FY2011, Work Order Number 30050089. Award the contract to the lowest responsive bidder, provided that the lowest responsive responsible bidder does not exceed the Engineer’s estimate by more than ten percent. This project consists of vacuuming cracks in asphalt concrete surfaces pavements, heating and applying asphalt modified rubber compounding into cracks , and patching cracks 1-1/2” to 6” with Asphalt Patching Material using contractor furnished equipment, establishing traffic control measures, and other miscellaneous work items required to complete project.
