103. NEW TRAFFIC CONTROLS ON SOUTHERN AVENUE Approve new traffic controls (No Stopping, Standing, Parking Any Time) on unincorporated right-of-way at the following locations: A NO STOPPING, STANDING, PARKING ANY TIME ZONE on Southern Avenue from 100 Feet west of Meridian Road to 1150 Feet west of Meridian Road (Both Sides). A NO STOPPING, STANDING, PARKING ANY TIME ZONE on Meridian Road from 105 Feet South of Southern Avenue to 1375 Feet South of Southern Avenue (West Side Only). A NO STOPPING, STANDING, PARKING ANY TIME ZONE on Meridian Road from 150 Feet North of Southern Avenue to 450 Feet North of Southern Avenue (West Side Only). This agenda item is the result of a Traffic Engineering Study conducted at the request of the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office. Vehicles parked on Maricopa County right-of-way are causing obstructions to the traveling public. In the interest of public safety, these signs are warranted.
