90. ASSIGNMENT OF STATE LAND RIGHT OF WAY TO CITY OF PHOENIX Approve an application to assign Maricopa County’s interest in a public road right of way granted by the Arizona State Land Department on May 11, 2001. Maricopa County’s interest in the public road right of way will be assigned to the City of Phoenix, a municipal corporation. The right of way, referenced as Arizona State Land Department R/W No. 16-105149, is for Pioneer Road lying within Section 34, T6N, R2E, Gila and Salt River Base and Meridian, Maricopa County. This portion of Pioneer Road as described in the assignment has been annexed by the City of Phoenix and is now under jurisdiction of the City of Phoenix. The Arizona State Land Department requires that we follow their administrative rules and regulations in the transfer of state trust property rights, by having both Maricopa County (Assignor) and the City of Phoenix (Assignee) sign the application for the assignment and assumption of interest.
