92. CAPITAL FREEZE EXCEPTION AND TRANSFER OF VEHICLES Approve the capital freeze exception and authorize the transfer of two surplus vehicles from the Air Quality Department (850) Air Quality Fees Fund (504) to the Public Works Department (910) Transportation Operations Fund (232) to replace two County vehicles. This action results in a decrease of two vehicles to the County fleet. The net value of the transferred assets is $20,881, which will require a fund transfer from the Transportation Operations Fund (232) to the Air Quality Fees Fund (504). Before the end of FY 2011, the Department of Finance will prepare and submit for Board approval a consolidated set of fund transfers to reconcile all inter-fund transfers of vehicle and other assets, along with necessary appropriation adjustments. Transportation is acquiring two vehicles as follows: Equipment Number/Description/Sales Price 71512/2005 Ford Ranger 4x4 Pickup Truck/ $9,860 71629/2006 Ford Ranger 4x4 Pickup Truck/$11,021 Transportation is replacing two vehicles as follows: Equipment Number/Description 72804/1998 Chevy S10 4x4 Pickup 32073/2000 Chevy C10 Pickup Truck These surplus vehicles are in lieu of purchasing new vehicles as replacements, resulting in a cost savings of $ 28,069 to the Public Works Department. 24. FUND TRANSFERS FOR SALE OF VEHICLES Pursuant to A.R.S. 42-17106(B), approve the following fund transfers and appropriation adjustments for the previously approved the sale and transfer of vehicles between departments and funds: 1. Fund transfer into the Air Quality Fees Fund (504) in the amount of $20,881. Increase the FY 2010-11 Air Quality (850) Air Quality Fees Fund (226) Non-Recurring/Non-Project (0001) revenue appropriation by $20,881. 2. Fund transfer out of the Transportation Operations Fund (232) in the amount of $20,881. Increase to the FY 2010-11 Public Works (910) Transportation Operations Fund (232) Non-Recurring/Non-Project (0001) expenditure appropriation by $20,881. 3. Offset the revenue and expenditure adjustments in Eliminations (980) Eliminations Fund (900) Non-Recurring/Non-Project (0001) in the amount of $20,881. The Board of Supervisors has previously approved the following agenda item which require the above fund transfers: C-91-11-044-V-00.. This results in a net county-wide impact of zero.
