44. ROAD ABANDONMENT (ROAD FILE NO. AB-246) Adopt a Resolution to set a hearing on AB-246 to abandon a portion of Old State Route 87 (AKA “Old Sunflower Alignment”) north of the realigned State Route 87 by extinguishing a portion of the easement which was conveyed to Maricopa County by means of a Resolution of Abandonment by the Arizona Department of Transportation to Maricopa County recorded in document no. 2003-1128443 and re-recorded in document no. 2009-0407800.
