56. PURCHASE AND OPERATING TRANSFER OF TWO USED VEHICLES Approve the capital freeze exemption, purchase, and operating transfer of two vehicles from the Air Quality Department (850) to Public Works (910) Solid Waste Management Division (SWMD). This action has a net zero impact to the County fleet. Authorize and approve a non-recurring fund transfer of $18,198 from the Solid Waste Management Fund (580) to the Air Quality Fees Fund (504). Per A.R.S. 42-17106(B), approve an increase to the FY 2010-11 Air Quality (850) Air Quality Fees Fund (504) Non-Recurring/Non-Project (0001) revenue appropriation of $18,198, and an increase to the FY 2010-11 Public Works (910) Solid Waste Management Fund (580) Non-Recurring/Non-Project (0001) expenditure appropriation of $18,198, with offsetting expenditure and revenue adjustments in Eliminations (980) Eliminations Fund (900) Non-Recurring/Non-Project (0001). The two used vehicles will be purchased from surplus to be used by field personnel to transport personnel and equipment to job sites. This will save both time and fuel by allowing SWMD to place vehicles at County Facilities near the employees’ residences thereby allowing them to report directly to a job site without first reporting to a distant work location.
