AGREEMENT WITH MARICOPA ASSOCIATION OF GOVERNMENTS AND THE TOWN OF GILA BEND FOR THE SMALL AREA TRANSPORTATION STUDY Approve the Agreement between Maricopa Association of Governments (MAG), the Town of Gila Bend and Maricopa County, acting through the Maricopa County Department of Transportation for the Gila Bend Small Area Transportation Study. The County’s financial contribution for the Study will not exceed $20,000.00. Funds are budgeted in the Public Works (910) Transportation Operations Fund (232). 61. AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT WITH MARICOPA ASSOCIATION OF GOVERNMENTS AND THE TOWN OF GILA BEND FOR THE SMALL AREA TRANSPORTATION STUDY Approve the First Amendment (Amendment) between Maricopa County (County), Maricopa Association of Governments (MAG), and the Town of Gila Bend (Town) for the Gila Bend Small Area Transportation Study (Study). The cost of the project is $115,000 of which the County is paying 35%, or $40,000. Funds are budgeted in the Transportation Operations Fund 232. The Parties desire to amend the Agreement, through this First Amendment, to increase the amount of funds that the County shall pay toward the Study from $20,000 to $40,000. As the Study has developed, its scope has increased to include additional model modification (adding significant road network and developing a more robust Transportation Analysis Zone structure) and a desire by the County to work with the Town on project prioritization for the future. As a result of this scope increase, the cost of the Study has also increased from $95,000 to $115,000. Therefore, through this First Amendment, MAG and the Town request that the County contribute an additional $20,000 toward the overall cost of the Study. Supervisory District No. 5 (C-91-11-217-M-01)
