75. BID AND AWARD FOR USERY PASS MILL & RESURFACE PROJECT, PAVEMENT PRESERVATION (PAVE) PROJECT Approve the solicitation of bids for the Maricopa County Department of Transportation's Usery Pass Mill & Resurface Project, Pavement Preservation (PAVE) Project, Sub-Project Number T394; and approve the award of the contract to the lowest responsive bidder, provided that the lowest responsive bid does not exceed the engineer’s estimate by ten percent. This project consists of edge-milling the existing road surfaces and replacing with new asphalt-rubber concrete pavement. The new pavement surfacing is necessary due to the deteriorating pavement on these roads and will extend the useful performance life of these roads. Resurfacing and delineating these roads will provide structurally sound, smooth-riding, and safe roadways for the traveling public. The project consists of approximately 14 lane miles (112,000 square yards) of Usery Pass Rd, detailed in the included ROAD LIST. Supervisory District No. 2 (C-91-11-223-5-00)
