A-3. SALE AND OPERATING TRANSFER OF VEHICLES Approve the capital freeze exception and authorize the sale and operating transfer of three surplus vehicles from the Air Quality Department (850) Air Quality Fees Fund (504) to the Public Works Department (910) Department of Transportation Operations Fund (232). Transportation will use these Air Quality vehicles as replacements to three Transportation vehicles resulting in a decrease to the County fleet of three vehicles. Approve an FY 2010-11 fund transfer of $32,649 from the Transportation Operations Fund (232) to the Air Quality Fees Fund (504). Pursuant to A.R.S. 42-17106(B), increase to FY 2010-11 Air Quality Department (850) Air Quality Fees Fund (504) Non-Recurring/Non-Project (0001) revenue appropriation by $32,649, and increase the FY 2010-11 Public Works (910) Transportation Operations Fund (232) Non-Recurring/Non-Project (0001) expenditure appropriation by $32,649 with offsetting expenditure and revenue adjustments in Eliminations (980) Eliminations Fund (900) Non-Recurring/Non-Project (0001). The net financial impact to the County is zero. Transportation is acquiring three vehicles as follows: Equipment Number/Description/Sale Price 21821/2008 Ford Focus Compact 4 Door Sedan /$10,430 21826/2008 Ford Focus Compact 4 Door Sedan/$10,667 71634/2006 Ford Ranger 4x4 Pickup Truck/$11,552 Transportation is replacing three vehicles as follows: Equipment Number/Description 51911/1999 Ford Taurus 4 Door Sedan 52801/1998 Chevy Lumina 4 Door Sedan 32116/2001 Chevy 4x4 Pickup Truck These surplus vehicles are in lieu of purchasing new vehicles as replacements, resulting in a cost savings of $33,351.
