58. DECLARE AS SURPLUS AND TRANSFER OF SOIL COMPACTION MACHINE TO THE CITY OF MESA Declare as surplus the soil compaction machine that is no longer needed by the Maricopa County Department of Transportation (MCDOT) Materials Lab. Authorize the sale of the soil compaction machine to the City of Mesa (City) for the sum of $1.00, to be used for the specific purposes of the City, in accordance with Procurement Code Section MCI-803(E). The compaction machine (Proctor Hammer Asset Number F61419) at MCDOT Materials Lab has two broken parts—compaction counter and rotating compaction platform. The model has been obsolete and its original manufacturer discontinued the model and the parts are no longer available. The machine is at the lab storage area. It has been removed from the capital asset listing in 2000. Supervisor District No. 2 (C-91-12-025-M-00)
