60. PRE-CONSTRUCTION SERVICES CONTRACT WITH D.L. WITHERS CONSTRUCTION LLC FOR THE MCSO DEPARTMENTAL RELOCATIONS PROJECT Approve contract (918-12-008) with D. L. Withers Construction, LLC in an amount not-to-exceed $289,358 to provide pre-construction services to the MCSO Departmental Relocations project (MC-A-10-856) which include: project meetings, due diligence, estimating services, recommendations, utility design assist, development of project schedule, schedule compliance, and phasing plan, evaluation of material availability, long lead items, decision tracking and building information modeling, constructability reviews, quality assurance, evaluation of alternates, subcontractor selection and development of a Guaranteed Maximum Price. The scope of these services is in accordance with the procurement pursuant to Article 5 of the Procurement Code and the scope of work defined in the Request for Qualifications. This project has been recommended by the Facilities Review Committee and is located in District 5. Programming Contract: $33,713.00; approved by R. Barker. Services: initial programming design assist; preliminary evaluation of long-lead items. (C-91-12-032-5-00)
