67. BID AND AWARD FOR LAKE PLEASANT ACCESS ROAD: CASTLE HOT SPRINGS ROAD TO LAKE PLEASANT PARK ENTRANCE SAFETY PROJECT Approve the solicitation of bids for the Maricopa County Department of Transportation’s Lake Pleasant Access Road - Castle Hot Springs Road to Lake Pleasant Park Entrance Safety Project (SAFE), Job No. T402; and approve the award of the contract to the lowest responsive bidder, provided that the lowest responsive bid does not exceed the engineer’s estimate by ten (10) percent. The purpose of this project is to add an additional lane on Lake Pleasant Access Road and lengthen the right turn lane along Castle Hot Springs Road. The project will enhance roadway safety. This project will be procured in accordance with the mandate set forth in the Maricopa County Procurement Code, Article 5, and Section 504. This project is located in Supervisor District 4 (C-91-12-046-5-00)
