63. BID AND AWARD FOR DESERT SAGE SUBDIVISION REHABILITATION PAVEMENT PRESERVATION (PAVE) PROJECT Approve the solicitation of bids for the Maricopa County Department of Transportation's Desert Sage Subdivision Rehabilitation, Pavement Preservation (PAVE) Project, Sub-Project Number T416; and approve the award of the contract to the lowest responsive responsible bidder, provided that the lowest responsive responsible bidder does not exceed the Engineer’s estimate by more than ten percent. This project consists of replacing or repairing deteriorating concrete curb and gutter and milling the existing road surfaces and replacing with new rubberized asphalt concrete pavement. These measures are necessary due to the deteriorating concrete and pavement on these roads and will extend the useful performance life of these roads. Resurfacing and delineating these roads will provide structurally sound, smooth-riding, and safe roadways for the traveling public. The project consists of approximately 5.5 lane miles (99,000 square yards) of various subdivision roads. Supervisory District No. 2 (C-91-12-061-5-00)
