A-1. IGA WITH SUN CITY FIRE DISTRICT FOR THE INSTALLATION AND MAINTENANCE OF SIGNAL FLASHERS Approve the Intergovernmental Agreement between Maricopa County’s Department of Transportation and the Sun City Fire District for the Installation and Maintenance of Signal Flashers located at 99th Ave. & Sun City Blvd. and at 17017 N. 99th Ave. (North of Bell Rd.). The project is in the Transportation Improvement Program Traffic Improvements (TIMP) Project bin, Sub-Project T379. The installation of signal flashers at 99th Avenue and Sun City Blvd. and 17017 N. 99th Avenue has been requested by the Fire Department and deemed appropriate by the County’s Traffic Management staff. The County will act as the lead agency for this project, and will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of the signal flashers. The Fire District will contribute $25,000, which is estimated to be 50% of the material costs. (C-91-12-072-M-00)
