3. NORTHERN PARKWAY PROGRAM PRESENTATION Presentation to the Board of Supervisors on status of the Northern Parkway Program. The Northern Parkway Program is part of the Regional Transportation Plan (Prop 400). It will construct a six or more lane parkway primarily along the Northern Avenue alignment. This $300+ million project will be constructed in partnership with the cities of El Mirage, Glendale, and Peoria and the Maricopa Association of Governments. The project will be constructed in phases over approximately a multi-year period. The bid opening for Phase 1 is scheduled for November 2nd with construction to start at the beginning of December.
