VEHICLE DONATION Pursuant to A.R.S. 11-251-9, approve the sale to a qualifying non-profit for one dollar of a County owned 2001 Ford Windstar, equip. number 91101, serial number - 2FMZA504X1BB22476, located at 3325 W. Durango Street, Phoenix, Arizona, via quitclaim deed to Phoenix Opportunities Industrialization Center, a 501c(3) tax exempt, non-profit. Based on the vehicle’s age (2001), depreciation value ($0.00), and salvaged title, it has no value and would create a negative cost to the County. Therefore, Waste Resources & Recycling (formerly Solid Waste Department) has determined that the most cost efficient way to dispose of the vehicle is to pass all interest, rights, and obligations via quitclaim title to the user, Opportunities Industrialization Center, to benefit veterans’ job programs.
