1. REGIONAL TRANSPORTATION PLAN PERFORMANCE AUDIT (PROP. 400) PRESENTATION Presentation to the Board on the Auditor General’s Performance Audit of the Maricopa County Regional Transportation Plan (Prop. 400). The enabling statutes for Proposition 400 requires that beginning in 2010 and every five years thereafter, that the Arizona Auditor General hire an independent auditor with expertise in multimodal transportation systems and regional transportation planning to conduct a performance audit of the regional transportation system. The first audit has now been conducted and is available for review at www.azauditor.gov. The Board of Supervisors has 45 days (Feb. 4th) to submit written recommendations to the MAG Transportation Policy Committee that the findings are agreed to or disagreed with and the recommendations should be implemented, implemented with modification or not be implemented.
