I-2. ABANDONMENT OF EASEMENTS FOR DESERT HILLS SANITARY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT Approve abandonment of the easements granted by various landowners to the Desert Hills Sanitary Improvement District. A.R.S. § 48-909(B) The easements were designed to allow the right to enter upon the described lands for the construction, operation, and maintenance of a wastewater treatment plant and associated sanitary sewer line and appurtenances and ingress and egress access to the improvement district wastewater treatment plant. (District 3) The easements are no longer required because the District failed to acquire the property needed to build a wastewater treatment plant for which this sanitary district was established. In addition, the petitioners now have other options for wastewater service in this area. The district is located in the vicinity of Carefree Highway and 7th Street. (C-91-12-104-7-00)
