A-1. INVESTMENT ADVISORY SERVICES CONTRACT WITH ARNERICH MASSENA, INC. UNDER THE MARICOPA COUNTY DEFERRED COMPENSATION PLAN In accordance with the Maricopa County Procurement Code, MCI-351, approve a 5 year, with five (1) one year renewal options, Competition Impracticable Contract, in the amount of $366,144 with Arnerich Massena, Inc. (Contractor), for Investment Advisory Services under the Maricopa County Deferred Compensation Plan (Plan). This contract is not funded through County revenue sources, but an administrative expense paid through the fees associated with the Plan. The contractor shall provide investment selection, measurement, monitoring, reporting and general plan consulting for the Plan. Arnerich Massena, Inc. has provided Investment Advisory Services to the Plan since 2008. Use of an investment advisor is intended to assist the Plan Committee in meeting its fiduciary responsibility, and effectively constructing, supervising, and evaluating the investment program established for the Plan. Arnerich Massena, Inc. shall furnish all necessary labor, materials, equipment and space needed to provide investment advice on the selection of appropriate asset classes, recommending managers or mutual fund investment options appropriate for such asset classes, monitoring funds and replacing them as appropriate and prudent, performance measurement, monitoring and reporting.
