26. AUTHORIZE APPLICATION TO ARIZONA STATE LAND DEPARTMENT FOR ACCESS ROAD FOR CAVE CREEK WASTE DISPOSAL & RECYCLING CENTER Approve application submittals and fees to the Arizona State Land Department (ASLD), for obtaining legal access to the Cave Creek Waste Disposal & Recycling Center. Also, authorize the Real Estate Manager to execute and process the subject application documents on behalf of Maricopa County. The original Right of Way was granted by the Bureau of Land Management (“BLM”). BLM has transferred ownership of the underlying real property to the State of Arizona through the control of ASLD. The Right of Way agreement with BLM has expired. ASLD is requiring a new application for the subject Right of Way. As part of ASLD’s application process, the County will be required to pay for an appraisal, archeological, study, and associated auction cost. A subsequent Board of Supervisors agenda items will be submitted to obtain Board authorization for these additional costs to process and obtain the subject right of way. (C-94-14-023-3-00)
