31. AUTHORIZE APPLICATION TO ARIZONA STATE LAND DEPARTMENT FOR ACCESS ROAD FOR CAVE CREEK WASTE DISPOSAL & RECYCLING CENTER Approve application submittals and fees to the Arizona State Land Department (ASLD), for obtaining legal access to the Cave Creek Waste Disposal & Recycling Center. Also, authorize the Real Estate Manager to execute and process the subject application documents on behalf of Maricopa County. The original Right of Way was granted by the Bureau of Land Management (“BLM”). BLM has transferred ownership of the underlying real property to the State of Arizona through the control of ASLD. The Right of Way agreement with BLM has expired. ASLD is requiring a new application for the subject Righty of Way. As part of ASLD’s application process, the County may be required to pay for an appraisal, archeological clearance, and other studies as may be required. A subsequent Board of Supervisors agenda items will be submitted to obtain Board authorization if the subject Right of Way application processing costs are greater than $2,000. (C-94-15-004-3-00)
