ADMINISTRATIVE CORRECTION AND APPOINTMENT OF MEMBER TO THE MARICOPA COUNTY WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT BOARD Approve Administrative Correction to correct the spelling of the name of an appointed Maricopa County Workforce Development Board (MCWDB) member. The Board of Supervisors approved the appointment of a “Maria Lazere” instead of Marla Lazere as a MCWDB member on October 25, 2017 Marla Lazere was designated by Arizona Department of Economic Security (DES) to represent DES Employment Service Office under the Wagner-Peyser Act. By approving this Administrative Correction, all MCWDB information will be updated to reflect the proper name. Appoint the following member to represent the Policy Making Authority Mandatory Category for the term effective upon approval to June 30, 2020: Randall Kimmens, Maricopa Community College District – Higher Education 2. Eliminate the Additional Representatives Non-Mandatory Category to promote compliance with WIOA regulations and reduce the number of WDB members to those mandated, which decreases the WDB to the smallest number possible, consistent with the Board of Supervisors' strategic direction.
