APPOINTMENT OF MARICOPA COUNTY WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT BOARD MEMBER(S) Request approval of the following actions regarding the Maricopa County Workforce Development Board (MCWDB) as set forth below: 1. Appoint Matthew Clark, State and Local Government Affairs Manager, Verizon to the Business Category effective upon approval through June 30, 2021 and July 1, 2021 through June 30, 2024. The MCWDB is established and receives its authority in accordance with the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA), which was signed into law on July 22, 2014 as Public Law 113-128. The Maricopa County Board of Supervisors (BOS) shall have final authority. The Maricopa County Board of Supervisors approves the appointments and accepts the resignations of MCWDB members. Supervisory District: All Districts (C-95-21-030-X-00)
