APPOINTMENT AND NON-RENEWAL OF MARICOPA COUNTY WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT BOARD MEMBERS Request approval of the following actions regarding the Maricopa County Workforce Development Board (MCWDB) as set forth below: 1. Appoint Jason Walker, Deputy Chief, Specialized Services Bureau, Maricopa County Adult Probation to the AZADE Adult Education & Literacy – WIOA Title II Category effective July 1, 2021 through June 30, 2024. 2. Appoint Subhash Chandra, Human Resources and Finance Director, TBC Services, LLC to the Business Category effective upon approval through June 30, 2021 and July 1, 2021 through June 30, 2024. 3. Do not renew membership for the following members in their respective categories: - AZADE Adult Education & Literacy – WIOA Title II Category: Elizabeth E. Cole (term expires on 6/30/2021) - Business Category: Mark Wagner (term expires on 6/30/2021) The MCWDB is established and receives its authority in accordance with the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA), which was signed into law on July 22, 2014 as Public Law 113-128. The Maricopa County Board of Supervisors (BOS) shall have final authority. The Maricopa County Board of Supervisors approves the appointments, reappointments and accepts the resignations of MCWDB members. Supervisory District: All Districts (C-95-21-035-X-00)
