CARES ACT FUNDING BUDGET RECONCILIATION FY 2021 In accordance with A.R.S. 42-17106(B), approve the following budget adjustments for FY 2021: Increase the FY 2021 revenue and expenditure authority in the following departments’ Coronavirus Relief Fund (200) Non Recurring Non Project (NRNP) budgets by the following: o Call Center (D140) $33,000 o Elections (D210) $100,000 o Correctional Health (D260) $3,200,000 o Juvenile Probation (D270) $100,000 o Medical Examiner (D290) $200,000 o Sheriff (D500) $5,500,000 o Facilities Management (D700) $200,000 o Procurement Services (D730) $50,000 o Superior Court (D800) $175,000 o Public Health (D860) $50,000 o Unified Command Center (D890) $5,425,000 Decrease the FY 2021 revenue and expenditure authority in the Non Departmental (D470) Coronavirus Relief Fund (200) Non Recurring Non Project (NRNP) budgets by $15,033,000. This action is necessary to fund departmental expenditures related to the COVID-19 pandemic incurred in Fiscal Year 2021. Grant revenues are not local revenues for the purpose of the constitutional expenditure limitation, and therefore, expenditure of the funds is not prohibited by the Budget Law. Approval of this action does not alter the budget constraining the expenditure of local revenues duly adopted by the Board pursuant to A.R.S. §42-17105. During the fiscal years where CARES Act Corona Relief Funds are available to Maricopa County, consider department budget to actual performance in total where the department’s Stimulus Grant Fund (Fund 200) is over budget.
