AMERICAN RESCUE PLAN ACT (ARPA) EXPENDITURE APPROVAL AND BUDGET ADJUSTMENTS Approve the following uses of American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funding consistent with the Board of Supervisors approved priorities. Correctional Health -Nursing Retention Incentive estimated at $312,000 Human Services -Reduce the Home Repair and Bio Cleans budget from $2,027,000 to $0 -Homelessness Shelter and Services increase by $2,027,000 for a new estimated amount of $16,521,090 -Reduce Payments to Landlords budget by $1,285,970 for a new estimated amount of $11,589,030 -Transportation Assistance estimated at $383,494 -Rent and Mortgage Assistance Eviction Prevention for Navigation and Application Assistance increase by $2,553,536 for a new estimated amount of $2,603,536 Also, in accordance with A.R.S. 42-17106(B), approve the following adjustments to revenue and expenditure authority in FY 2022 for the Coronavirus Fiscal Recovery Fund (Fund 296) Non Recurring Non Project (NRNP) budgets in the following departments: Correctional Health (D260): $312,000 Human Services (D220): $1,651,060 Decrease the revenue and expenditure authority for Non Departmental (D470) Coronavirus Fiscal Recovery Fund (296) Non Recurring Non Project (NRNP) by $1,963,060. Grant revenues are not local revenues for the purpose of the constitutional expenditure limitation, and therefore, expenditure of the funds is not prohibited by the Budget Law. Approval of this action does not alter the budget constraining the expenditure of local revenues duly adopted by the Board pursuant to A.R.S. §42-17105.
