AMERICAN RESCUE PLAN ACT (ARPA) EXPENDITURE APPROVAL AND BUDGET ADJUSTMENTS Approve the following uses of American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funding consistent with the Board of Supervisors approved priorities. Elections -Hazard Pay for Poll Workers estimated at $206,154 Non-Departmental -County CIP Projects for government services using ARPA revenue loss replacement funds estimated at $10,000,000 Also, authorize the Office of Budget and Finance to make the following adjustments to revenue and expenditure authority in FY 2023 for the Coronavirus Fiscal Recovery Fund (Fund 296) Non Recurring Non Project (NRNP) budgets in the following departments: Elections (D210): $206,154 Decrease the revenue and expenditure authority for Non Departmental (D470) Coronavirus Fiscal Recovery Fund (296) Non Recurring Non Project (NRNP) by $206,154. Grant revenues are not local revenues for the purpose of the constitutional expenditure limitation, and therefore, expenditure of the funds is not prohibited by the Budget Law. Approval of this action does not alter the budget constraining the expenditure of local revenues duly adopted by the Board pursuant to A.R.S. §42-17105. (C-95-22-048-X-00)
