34. APPOINTMENT OF MARICOPA COUNTY WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT BOARD MEMBER Approval for the following actions regarding the Maricopa County Workforce Development Board (MCWDB) as set forth below: 1. Accept the Maricopa County Workforce Development Board (MCWDB) application of Anne Landers Chief Operating Officer, Junior Achievement of Arizona (Community-Based Organization) category of the Maricopa County Workforce Development Board, effective upon approval through June 30, 2025 (completing the term of former member Steve Navis.) The full term of service will follow, effective July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2028. The MCWDB is established and receives its authority in accordance with the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA), which was signed into law on July 22, 2014 as Public Law 113-128. The Maricopa County Board of Supervisors (BOS) shall have final authority. The Maricopa County Board of Supervisors approves the appointments and reappointments and accepts the resignations of MCWDB members. Supervisory District: All Districts (C-95-24-003-X-00)
