Attachment B Overview • Installation of health shields at all staff service desks and customer computer workstations. • Control of occupancy limits through the Implementation of a sign-in process for Collection Browsing, Computer & Internet access, PC Printing, Scanning, and copier service. • Above services will be offered in 1-hour increments allowing 45 minutes of access time. Security will clear the building at the 45-minute mark in preparation of the next reservation block. • Library IT will Install additional monitors at service desks in order to provide contactless customer service. • Socially distant service line for Grab and Go as well as Account and Library Card management. • Daily on-site custodial staff to disinfect frequently touched surfaces and restrooms throughout the day. • Abundant availability of disinfectant wipes, hand sanitizer, and disposable masks for customers and staff. • Removal of all tables and furniture to promote a sanitary environment and prevent loitering. • Implementation of a temporary bag policy limiting one backpack per person. • Due to staff vacancies at 19 percent combined with our current leave rate of 32 percent the total number of customers admitted each hour will be based on the total number of available workstations by location. Additionally, Phase II will be implemented in three separate groupings prioritized by PC demand, circulation, and geographic location. Each grouping will open within 3-4 weeks of the last.
