Item 88, text amendment application Z-TA-1-19 and Ordinance G-66703 is a request to amend Chapter 7, Section 705.2.A.2 and 705.2.A.5 (Location Restrictions) of the Phoenix Zoning Ordinance to allow off-premise advertising within Planned Unit Developments, with a minimum of 15 gross acres and located on publicly owned land used for a school. This request is to continue the item to September 2, 2020, in order to allow the applicant to work with stakeholders to refine the text amendment language because of concerns about proliferation of off-premise advertising structures.
