RE: REOPEN PHOENIX CITY PARKS

On Aug. 27, 2020, Maricopa County met the COVID-19 Arizona Department of Health Services
benchmarks for reopening some businesses as the metrics measuring the prevalence of the
coronavirus demonstrates decreased spread. Impacted business have been cleared to resume

operations and Phoenix City parks should resume as well.

We are requesting that the City Manager add an action item for vote on the Wednesday, Sept. 2,
2020, Formal agenda for Phoenix City Parks to resume permitting athletic fields for outdoor use.
