(ORDINANCE G-7323)

Item 76 is a request to hold a public hearing on a proposed amendment to the City Code
sections 10-197 and 10-204 to Chapter 10, Article XVI related to Short-Term Vacation
Rentals to incorporate Arizona Revised Statute (A.R.S.) 9-500.39 requirements for
obtaining a Short-Term Rental (STR) Permit.

Staff recommends continuing this item to the November 20, 2024, City Council Formal

meeting to allow for additional discussions between staff, the Mayor, and City Council
offices.
