Agreement for Independent Investigative Services  
between Maricopa County on Behalf of the Maricopa County  
Sheriff’s Office and Baseline Investigations 
C-50-23-005-x-02 
 
This Amendment 2 to contract is entered into this _____ day of ____________, 2023 by and between 
Maricopa County (“County”), a political subdivision of the State of Arizona, on behalf of the Maricopa  
County Sheriff and Baseline Investigations, an Arizona Private Investigation Agency License Number 
1721229 (“Contractor”).   This contract is pursuant to IGA between Maricopa County on behalf of the 
Maricopa Sheriff’s Office and the City of Phoenix #C-50-23-004-x-00, (“IGA”) and its amendment #C-50-
23-004-x-01, extending the term through June 30, 2024. 
 
Recitals 
 
Maricopa County (“County”) on behalf of Maricopa County Sheriff (“MCSO”) entered into a contract with 
Baseline Investigations, and Arizona Private Investigation Agency License Number 1721229, 
“Contractor” on July 27, 2022.  The contract term was nine (9) months beginning August 1, 2022, and 
ending April 30, 2023.   
 
The term was extended to June 30, 2023, in Board of Supervisors action C-50-23-005-x-01. 
 
The contract is dependent upon funding and contingent upon the duration of an IGA with the City of Phoenix (C-
50-23-004-x-00 and C-50-23-004-x-01).     
 
An extension of the term is required to accommodate follow up investigation or testimony with the Pinal County 
Attorney’s Office. 
 
Amendment 
 
The Term of this contract is extended for one year beginning July 1, 2023, and through June 30, 2024.  All other 
terms and conditions remain the same.
