Your abandonment request was granted CONDITIONAL APPROVAL.  
  
This request will NOT be completed until all the stipulations have been met and this request is 
formally adopted by City Council. It is the APPLICANT’S RESPONSIBILITY to ensure that all 
stipulations are satisfied. Please contact Dru Maynusl at (602) 262-7403 for questions and 
notification of your completion of the stipulations.  
 
Upon completion of the stipulations Dru Maynus will schedule your request for City Council formal 
approval. You will receive a copy of the abandonment document after it has been recorded with 
Maricopa County. 
 
If the stipulations of abandonment are not completed within two years from the date of your 
conditional approval (your expiration date is March 6, 2027), this request will then expire.  At that

0542167 recorded on 04/30/03 MRC per 
attached “Exhibit A.” 
 
  
Purpose of request:  
 
 
 
The applicant states that the existing 
drainage easement was developed prior to 
site engineering; therefore, final site 
engineering will be a piped storm drain and 
laid out in a 16-foot-wide easement (per City 
of Phoenix standards) and outside of a new 
multi-use trail easement. Thus, the existing 
drainage easement is no longer needed.

Recommend Approval, however, adjust dedication as needed to meet comments for the DE 
abandonment per latest grading plan markups.

Stipulations of Conditional Approval   
 
The request of abandonment ABND 250002 is conditionally approved and the following 
stipulations will need to be met:  
 
1. Grading Plan CPGD 2405503 shall be approved prior to scheduling ABND 250002 for City 
Council.

2. ABND 250002 shall be recorded concurrently with PLAT 250011.  
 
3. The above stipulations must be completed within two years from the conditional approval 
decision dated March 6, 2025.
