We have owned 4438 E Weldon Ave for 24 years and purchased 4432 E Weldon Ave (for our use, to keep a 2 story house from being built next to us) almost a year ago. We are NOT flippers, we have been in the neighborhood for 30 years. The project is described as "a new attractive, contemporary, two‐story office structure". There is nothing in this descritpion that we find "attractive". First, a contemporary building surrounded by 1950's ramblers would stick out like a sore thumb. Secondly, a two story building backing up to houses is not only rude it is unsettleing. Ours is a family neighborhood. We all know each other, we know each others children. Having a business with offices looking into the backyards of our neighbors is horrible. It will also be horrible to have to look at the proposed building each time we leave our home to head West. Perhaps Mr Nardecchia could put his proposed "new attractive, contempory, two‐story office structure" on 68th Street behind his house/business address so he could have people looking into HIS back yard.
