NOTICE OF RESULTS HISTORIC PRESERVATION COMMISSION Pursuant to A.R.S. Section 38-431.02, notice is hereby given to the members of the HISTORIC PRESERVATION COMMISSION and to the general public, that the HISTORIC PRESERVATION COMMISSION held a meeting open to the public on Monday, September 18, 2023, at 4:30 p.m. located at the Phoenix City Council Chambers, 200 West Jefferson Street, Phoenix, Arizona. The results of the meeting were as follows: RESULTS Meeting called to order 1. Call to order Dan Garcia, Commission Chair Introductions made 2. Review of meeting minutes from the Annual Work Session and Regular HPC meetings on August 21, 2023 Action Requested: Approval of minutes – two separate actions HP Commission Approved 4. Initiation of HP overlay zoning for the Yaun Ah Gim Grocery, 1002 S. 4th Ave. Action Requested: Initiation of HP overlay zoning Helana Ruter, HP Staff Recommended approval of HP overlay zoning 5. Public Hearing for Application No. Z-38-23-6, Walter Hubbard Sterling Residence at 7519 N. 9th Pl. Action Requested: Recommendation on Historic Preservation (HP) Overlay Zoning Desiree Aranda, HP Staff Recommended approval of amendment 6. CLG Review of the National Register Nomination Amendment for the Elizabeth Seargeant-Emery Oldaker House located at 649 N. 3rd Ave. Action Requested: Recommendation to the Historic Sites Review Committee Helana Ruter, HP Staff Recommended approval of grant application 7.
