Subject: REQUEST TO REVISE ITEM 68, ANNUAL REVIEW AND UPDATES TO THE
NEIGHBORHOOD SERVICES DEPARTMENT'S CODE ENFORCEMENT
POLICY, FROM THE JUNE 14, 2023 FORMAL AGENDA

FOR REVISION: The Neighborhood Services Department requests approval to revise
Item 68, Annual Review and Updates to the Neighborhood Services Department's Code
Enforcement Policy, from the June 14, 2023 formal agenda. Request to add the
following language to section I. 6. of Attachment B, titled Exceptions:

“Violations include, but are not limited to, non-permitted events where the owner has
been notified but activity continues, such as unauthorized parties that occur on
commercial properties and events with outdoor entertainment without the appropriate

use permit.”
