Once again, I and my family who all live in Sonoran Foothills vehemently oppose any more density or multi-family unit development in this area. Traffic is already becoming ridiculous in this area and the police department either can’t, due to staffing, or won’t do traffic enforcement in the area. Not to mention that the city seems to have abandon any form of maintenance in the village. I would think that with the chip plant being constructed in the area and the number of people looking for HOMES in the area, the city would be putting its best foot forward. The roads are split and have pot holes, the medians on 27th drive south from Carefree highway to Dove valley have not been maintained in over a year. There are two large downed trees, one from summer 2021,( I know because I requested its removal last year) numerous dead branches, tires and other debris in the median. Please feel free to pass this to whomever is responsible at the city regarding the maintenance issues, they have not responded to me.
