Wastewater Infrastructure Work to be Completed in compliance with the Clean Water Act, EPA 40 CFR Part 503 &
Part 133 for Municipal Wastewater Effluent Standards

☐Construction of publicly owned treatment works: Assistance to any private owner, municipality or intermunicipal,
interstate, or state agency for construction of publicly owned wastewater collection and treatment works such as a
sewer main extension in the right-of-way that would be owned by a utility company as well as the connection to this
sewer main by a collection system installed on private property to collect wastewater from homes. For example, if a
mobile home park transitioned from failed on-site septic systems to connecting to a city sewer system there would
likely be a required extension of the city’s sewer main and construction of a collection system in the mobile home
park that would connect to the extension from the city’s sewer system.
•
Add specifics.
☐Decentralized wastewater treatment systems: Assistance to any public, private, or
nonprofit entity for the construction, repair, or replacement of decentralized wastewater treatment systems that
treat municipal wastewater or domestic sewage.

☐Repair or Replace of On-Site Septic System
