60-Day Notice Notice Date: March 20, 2023 Council Date: June 28, 2023 Type: Tax Description: The City of Phoenix hereby gives notice of a proposed increase to the Stormwater Excise tax. This increase is primarily the result of new and expanded permit requirements from the City’s latest MS4 permit, which became effective July 1, 2021. This increase is projected to provide the additional revenue required for the Program through October 2028. 1. Date, time, and place of meeting. Information will be provided at the March and April Village Planning Committee Meetings. Additional public meeting information is available online at Phoenix.gov/ProposedRates. The proposed tax increase will be considered at the Phoenix City Council Formal meeting on or after June 28, 2023, at 2:30 PM.
