RESOLUTION NO. 73-26 
 
A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF 
BUCKEYE, ARIZONA, APPROVING THE ARIZONA 9-1-1 PROGRAM 
FUNDING ASSISTANCE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE STATE OF ARIZONA 
ACTING THROUGH THE ARIZONA DEPARTMENT OF ADMINISTRATION 
AND THE CITY OF BUCKEYE; AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO 
EXECUTE AND DELIVER SAID GRANT AGREEMENT ON BEHALF OF THE 
CITY OF BUCKEYE. 
WHEREAS, pursuant to A.R.S. §§ 11-951, et seq., the City of Buckeye (“City”) and 
Arizona Department of Administration (“ADOA”) are authorized to enter into an agreement to 
assist Public Safety Answering Points, in collaboration with regional and local jurisdictions, to 
perform activities related to implementation and operation of their respective emergency 
telecommunication system; and 
WHEREAS, pursuant to the Arizona 9-1-1 Program Funding Assistance Agreement 
(“Agreement”), the total payment to the City is not to exceed $152,000 in State funds for 
ADOA’s fiscal year 2027 (July 1, 2026 to June 30, 2027). 
 
BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the City of Buckeye, Arizona, as 
follows: 
 
Section 1. 
The recitals above are hereby incorporated as if fully set forth herein. 
 
 
Section 2. 
The Agreement between the City and ADOA is hereby approved in 
substantially the form and substance on file with the City Clerk. 
 
Section 3. 
The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute and deliver the 
Agreement on behalf of the City; further, the Mayor, City Manager, City Attorney, and City 
Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute all documents and other necessary or 
desirable instruments and to take all steps necessary to carry out the purpose and intent of 
this Resolution. 
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Mayor and Council of the City of Buckeye, Arizona,
