RESOLUTION NO. 74-26 
A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BUCKEYE, 
ARIZONA, APPROVING AMENDMENT #1 TO THE INTERGOVERNMENTAL 
GRANT AGREEMENT (IGA-ARPA-BUC-122324-01) BETWEEN THE CITY OF 
BUCKEYE, AN ARIZONA MUNICIPAL CORPORATION, AND THE STATE OF 
ARIZONA, THE OFFICE OF THE GOVERNOR; AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY 
MANAGER TO EXECUTE AND DELIVER SAID AMENDMENT AND ANY 
RELATED DOCUMENTS ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF BUCKEYE. 
 
WHEREAS, the Office of the Governor of the State of Arizona (“GVA”) and the City of 
Buckeye (“Grantee”) entered into the Intergovernmental Grant Agreement, No. IGA-ARPA-BUC-
122324-01 (“Agreement”) on December 27, 2024; and 
 
WHEREAS, since December 27, 2024, circumstances have changed to the extent GVA 
and Grantee desire to amend the Agreement as set forth in the Intergovernmental Grant 
Agreement Amendment #1, No. IGA-ARPA-BUC-122324-01. 
 
BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the City of Buckeye, Arizona, as follows: 
Section 1. 
The recitals above are hereby incorporated as if fully set forth herein. 
Section 2. 
The Intergovernmental Grant Agreement Amendment #1, No. IGA-ARPA-Buc-
122324-01 is hereby approved in the form on file with the City Clerk. 
 
Section 3. 
The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute and deliver the 
Intergovernmental Grant Agreement Amendment #1, No. IGA-ARPA-BUC-122324-01, and the 
Mayor, City Manager, City Attorney, and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute all 
documents and take all steps necessary or desirable to carry out the purpose and intent of this 
Resolution. 
 
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Mayor and Council of the City of Buckeye, Arizona, this
