RESOLUTION NO. 62-26

A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BUCKEYE,
ARIZONA, APPROVING THE INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT
BETWEEN THE CITY OF BUCKEYE AND THE ARIZONA GAME AND FISH
COMMISSION RELATING TO OUTDOOR RECREATION AND WILDLIFE
MANAGEMENT; AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR OR CITY MANAGER TO
EXECUTE AND DELIVER SAID INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT ON
BEHALF OF THE CITY.

WHEREAS, the City of Buckeye (“City”) and Arizona Game and Fish Commission and
Department, agencies of the State of Arizona, (“Commission”) desire to enter into an agreement
supporting ongoing fishing opportunities, wildlife habitat management, and outdoor education
programs that enhance the quality of life for Buckeye residents,

BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the City of Buckeye, Arizona, as follows:
Section 1. The recitals above are hereby incorporated as if fully set forth herein.

Section 2. The Intergovernmental Agreement Between the City of Buckeye and the
Arizona Game and Fish Commission Relating to the Outdoor Recreation and Wildlife
Management is hereby approved in substantially the form and substance on file with the City
Clerk and is incorporated herein by reference.

Section 3. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute and deliver the Agreement on
behalf of the City; and the Mayor, City Manager, City Attorney, and City Clerk are hereby
authorized and directed to execute all documents and other necessary or desirable instruments
and to take all steps necessary to carry out the purpose and intent of this Resolution.

PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Mayor and Council of the City of Buckeye, Arizona,
this 16th day of June 2026.
